Chinese police have arrested more than 4,200 people suspected of stealing and selling personal data via the Internet, reports Xinhua, referring to China's Public Security Ministry.

Among the arrested are employees of more than 40 sectors: 390 employees from banking, education, telecommunications, and insurance sectors. In addition, the police have arrested about 100 professional hackers. They are all convicted of being involved in more than 1800 criminal cases.
