Iraq will be removed from U.S. President Donald Trump’s new immigration order, Reuters reported quoting unnamed U.S. officials.
As four officials noted, the decision of the administration is connected with pressure from the Pentagon and U.S. Department of State which urged the White House to reconsider Iraq's inclusion given its key role in fighting the Islamic State terrorist group. At the same time other six countries will remain in the list of the new order.
According to the newspaper, Trump will sign the new order on Wednesday.
