Official visit of the U.S. President Donald Trump to the UK was postponed to October, The Sun reported.

As it was noted, the main reasons for the change of plans were concerns of the head of the U.S. administration that his trip to the United Kingdom will be accompanied by protests.

The U.S. President and British PM Theresa May agreed to delay the visit in the hope that outrage over Trump's travel ban would die down.

According to the newspaper, Trump told Theresa May of his fears over the trip originally plotted for June during a phone call two weeks ago.

Earlier about 1.86 million Britons were against Trump’s visit to the UK.
