The consulate general of Armenia in Los Angeles has signed a memorandum of understanding with the office of the American Red Cross Los Angeles Region.

This document envisions cooperation between the aforesaid diplomatic mission of Armenia and the Red Cross local office during emergencies, and within the framework of addressing the issues of the local Armenian community.

The parties noted that this memorandum of understanding is the first step in engaging in such collaboration, and expressed the hope that it will become a favorable basis for further expansion of cooperation with the community.
