YEREVAN. – Yelk (Way Out) bloc members Aram Sargsyan, Edmon Marukyan, Artak Zeynalyan, and Alen Simonyan on Monday held a talk with US Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills, at the joint headquarters of this political alliance.
They discussed several matters regarding the parliamentary election to be held in the country on April 2, the launch of the election campaign, and some other domestic political issues.
Also, the Yelk bloc members voiced their concerns about the forthcoming election.
“It is important to have an active campaign of ideas and for the Armenian voters to be sure their votes will count,” Ambassador Mills stated, for his part. “I join you in denouncing rumors that the video cameras and identification technology in the polling places are being installed to track how people will vote. I urge all Armenian voters to go to the polls on April 2 for the sake of Armenia’s future.”
