YEREVAN. – Poland is one of the few countries that constantly increases trade relations with Armenia, Polish Ambassador Jerzy Marek Nowakowski said at a press conference on Monday.

In his words, during the 25 years of their diplomatic relations, the two countries have managed to create a system of trade and economic relations. Nowakowski added that the traditional ties between the Armenian and the Polish businessmen also contribute to this system, and that the embassy simply helps them. 

According to statistics, trade between Armenia and Poland amounted to $55 million in 2016, and this is $7 million more than in the preceding year. Last year, it amounted to 1.1 percent of the total foreign trade of Armenia.
