Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte called inappropriate the sanctions adopted by Turkey amid growing diplomatic row between the countries.
However, Dutch PM said the sanctions are “not too bad”, the Guardian reported.
“I continue to find it bizarre that in Turkey they’re talking about sanctions when you see that we have reasons to be very angry about what happened this weekend,” Rutte said about sanctions that freeze diplomatic activities but not economic measures.
Earlier Ambassador of Netherlands was banned from traveling to Turkey. All diplomatic flights and high level meetings were canceled.
