The White House is continuing to stand by President Donald Trump's insistence that former President Barack Obama wiretapped his phones at Trump Tower in New York, despite a complete lack of evidence, VOA reported.

House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan joined the expanding group of the legislators declaring that there are no evidences of wiretapping.

“Based on the information available to us, we see no indications that Trump Tower was the subject of surveillance by any element of the United States government either before or after Election Day 2016,”, Republican Richard Burr and Democrat Mark Warner said.
