US SecretaryU.S. is considering all options in the issue of North Korea, including military actions, BBC reported quoting U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.
“Certainly we do not want to, for things to get to military conflict,” U.S. Secretary of State noted during his visit to Seoul.
But he said: “If they elevate the threat of their weapons programme to a level that we believe requires action, then that option's on the table.”
He also defended the deployment of a US missile system in South Korea.
During the trip, Tillerson visited the demilitarised zone which divides the two Koreas and held talks with South Korean Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se.
