Boko Haram militants have abducted 22 girls and women in two separate raids in north-east Nigeria, The Guardian reported.

According to some data, the first attack was committed on Thursday near the border with Cameroon. As the representative of the local community noted,  fighters of the group kidnapped 14 young girls aged 17 and below.

“They picked four other girls who were fleeing the raid they came across in the bush outside the village,” said the community leader.

The second incident occurred on Friday outside the village of Dumba, close to Lake Chad. They killed a herdsman and took four women from the man’s family,” he said.
