A pregnant woman on board a Turkish Airlines flight from Guinea to Istanbul, Turkey, gave birth on the plane.
The woman had started having labor contractions, whereupon the flight attendants carried out the childbirth procedure, according to Posta newspaper of Turkey.
The plane landed at the airport in Burkina Faso, where the waiting medical staff took the mother and newborn baby to hospital.
Subsequently, the plane continued its flight to Istanbul.
