Israeli Foreign Ministry condemned French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen's statements that France is not responsible for deportation of Jews from its territory during the Holocaust.
“This declaration is contrary to historical truth, as expressed in the statements of successive French president. This recognition underpins annual events marking the anniversary of the expulsion of Jews from France and Holocaust study in the education system,” Israeli Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
