YEREVAN. – The “Survey for Seismic Protection” Agency of Armenia on Tuesday recorded a magnitude-2.8 earthquake in the country, at 7:51am local time.
The epicenter of this tremor was 8km east of Amasia town.
The hypocenter of the quake was 10km beneath the surface.
This seismic activity measured magnitude 3 to 4 at the epicenter, the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
