YEREVAN. – Vladimir Hakobyan, Press Secretary of the President of Armenia, dismissed the report that President Serzh Sargsyan was taken to hospital on New Year’s day.
“The information does not correspond to reality,” Hakobyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. “The President had a slight cold, and he was at home during this time.”
Zhamanak (Time) newspaper had reported that President Sargsyan’s health had deteriorated on New Year’s day, and therefore he was taken to hospital.
