Turkish police detained 10 people suspected of ties with al-Qaeda. The detentions were carried out during raids in the Turkish cities of Bursa and Istanbul, RBC reports.
All the detainees were taken in for questioning, but refused to negotiate with the police.
Interrogations of potential terrorists will continue on December 31, 2010.
It is worth noting that the detention of several suspects in the past resulted in exemptions, because of lack of evidence presented by the investigators to the court.
