On September 16, 2009 at 10:35 a.m. Moscow time a female suicide bomber activated an explosive device in Grozny, Chechnya. According to the law enforcement agencies there are victims and wounded on Putin Avenue.
A female suicide bomber detonated explosives near the police car. Passengers in the passing minibus were also injured, ITAR-TASS reported.
Presently, the emergency site is closed off and special services are operating at the scene.
