A snowstorm hit Yerevan-Gyumri highway, particularly the road section of Mastara is completely covered with snow and sleet, photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The road conditions are extremely difficult and vehicles are moving very slowly.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier,  the Armenian Ministry of Transport and Communication calls on drivers not to travel as heavy snow, sleet and ice have caused major disruption on the highways.
