Armenia and its velvet revolution in April were this year’s focus at the Vienna Contemporary international art fair, which was held recently in the Austrian capital city, informed the official website of this event.

The fair hosted booths of the 118 galleries and institutions from 27 countries, and 34 of them—from Eastern Europe.

The exhibits were devoted to regional identity, and they stressed the recent political developments.

A whole section at Vienna Contemporary was dedicated to Armenia.
