A requiem service for the late Charles Aznavour was offered Saturday at the Armenian cross-stone in downtown Kiev, AnalitikaUA.net reported. The event brought together numerous residents of the Ukrainian capital city.
Also, a film about Aznavour’s work was shown, and flowers were laid and candles were lit.
Requiem services for the legendary French Armenian singer will be offered in Ukraine’s Armenian churches too.
The Kiev remembrance events devoted to Charles Aznavour had begun on Monday.
The world-renowned artist passed away Monday aged 94, in his house in southern France, and of natural causes.
