On February 9, Armenian Ambassador to Romania Hamlet Gasparyan received members of the Romania-Armenia inter-parliamentary friendship group, led by Mihai Lupu.

The Ambassador presented Armenia’s foreign policy priorities in regional and European contexts, prospects for the country’s development, the current stage in Armenia-Romania relations, as well as key issues and impending programs.

The sides attached importance to development of ties in different spheres, preservation of cultural heritage, cooperation in the fields of health, education and tourism, as well as promotion of local production.

The sides agreed to intensify mutual contacts between the two states’ parliaments, Armenian foreign ministry press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
