Before moving on to the items on the agenda during a regular working consultation, Mayor of Yerevan Haik Marutyan thanked the personnel that was involved in the dismantling of the cafés near the Opera House and improvement works, as well as to police officers and citizens of Yerevan for helping maintain public order and supporting the initiative, reported the news service of Yerevan Municipality, according to NEWS.am.

The goal of the program is to restore the architectural look and the once green zone of the area that belongs to the community.

“This is the heart of our city, and we need to make it look beautiful. We need to improve the look and add greenery so that our citizens and tourists enjoy the cultural atmosphere,” the mayor stated.
