The Azerbaijani side is trying to distort the facts in every possible way in accordance with the established tradition, at the same time the state is silent on the facts of the death of servicemen.

It should be reminded that yesterday the Armenian Ministry of Defense issued a message about the incident in the Tavush direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. It is about the attempts to carry out engineering works by the Azerbaijani side, aiming to push positions closer to Armenian trenches. Ignoring the warnings of the Armenian frontline units, the Azerbaijani forces opened fire toward the Armenian military positions. The Armenian side opened response fire, silencing the adversary and suspending the engineering works.

After thinking for a few hours, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense issued a denial with disputable content.

"A serviceman of the Azerbaijan Army Ellezov Ellez Aleddin was killed as a result of the shelling by the enemy of the positions of our units on the Fizuli direction of the front this evening.

At the same time, the Armenian media has spread information about the alleged attempt of the Azerbaijani side to propel forward its positions by carrying out engineering work on the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border. We officially declare that the spread information is untrue and another provocation of the Armenian side, as well as it aims to aggravate the situation at the front. As a result of decisive and adequate actions undertaken by the units of the Azerbaijan Army, the enemy’s firing positions were suppressed and its further provocations were stopped,” reads the statement of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry. As can be seen from the text, the Azerbaijani side did not say a word about the incident on the border with Armenia, instead trying to blame the incident that took place earlier in a completely different place, again due to the fault of the Azerbaijani side.

In fact, the defense ministry of Azerbaijan is once again trying to hide the information, posing one incident for another and denying its own fault in every way.

Meanwhile, similar attempts to distort and deny the facts find room in logic Azerbaijani Defence Ministry's actions. Thus, since the beginning of March, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry hid two cases of death of its servicemen. A it was noted, on March 7, Shakhriyar Byromam (born in 1999) died under unclear circumstances. On March 8, Medzhid Mamedragimov (1995) died in a road accident. In both cases, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan considered it good to remain silent.
