Moscow hosted the regular session of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, who is on a working visit to the Russian Federation, as reported the news service of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, according to NEWS.am.

The agenda for the session included 46 items particularly related to the course of implementation of prospective integration projects in the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the mechanisms for implementation of programs, digitization, as well as the elimination of technical obstacles in reciprocal trade with third countries. During the session, the participants touched upon the course of negotiations over free trade agreements with EAEU Member States and several countries and discussed issues related to drivers’ rights and electronic signatures, as well as protection of the rights of pensioners in EAEU Member States.

A discussion on the preparations for the 2019 Eurasian Week exhibition-conference was also included in the agenda for the session of the Council.

During the session, it was decided to hold the next session on 29 April in Yerevan.
