The United States and China moved forward at the next stage of trade negotiations held in Beijing, White House economic advisor Larry Kudlow told Fox News, TASS reported.

“We are still confidently moving forward, including in these negotiations,” he said.

The Xinhua news agency reported earlier on Friday that  Vice Premier of the People's Republic of China, Liu He,  as well as US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin "discussed the text of the agreement and made new progress."

For the next round, the Chinese delegation headed by Liu He will arrive in Washington on April 3.
