Australia is the first country, where the voting in the Ukrainian presidential elections took place, said Director General of the Consular Affairs Department of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Serhiy Pohoreltsev.
The elections started at the foreign polling station in Australia on March 30 at 11:00 PM Kyiv time, 112.international reported.
“The presidential elections will begin at the polling station in Australia on March 30 at 11:00 PM Kyiv time. They will end on April 1 at 6:00 AM Kyiv time in San Francisco,” he added.
Ukrainians abroad can cast their votes at the 101st polling station in 72 countries around the world. A total of 99 polling stations were created at the Ukrainian embassies and consulates, and two more polling stations abroad were formed at military units deployed outside Ukraine - in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Kosovo.
As reported earlier, Ukrainian 2019 presidential elections kicked off on Sunday.
