On 5 April, Armenia’s Ambassador to Vietnam Raisa Vardanyan was awarded the Peace and Friendship between Peoples Commemorative Medal by The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations at the Friendship Palace in Hanoi.

As reported the news service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to Armenian News-NEWS.am, the award is the highest award of The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations.

President of The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga and President of the Armenian-Vietnamese Friendship Organization Nguyen Van Thuan gave speeches during the solemn award ceremony.

In her speech, Ambassador Vardanyan stated that the friendly relations between Vietnam and Armenia are hinged on the historical values and traditions of both nations and touched upon the dynamically growing cooperation between the two countries in the spheres of economy, trade, education, exchange of technologies and culture.
