The G7 foreign ministers intend to make a joint statement on the fight against drug trafficking, arms trafficking, the situation of migrants in the Sahel region of Africa, cybercrime and sexual crimes in conflict zones, the Associated Press reported. 

The foreign ministers of the G7 countries - the US, France, Canada, Japan, Germany, Italy and the UK - are holding a two-day meeting in the French resort town of Dinard, where they hope to come to joint agreements on global issues, and also lay the foundations for the upcoming meeting in August in Biarritz .

The parties intend to also discuss the differences that have arisen between them as the US objections over Belt and Road Initiative and its stance on Venezuela.
