YEREVAN. – The National Assembly of Armenia on Tuesday adopted several laws in the second reading, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reported from parliament.

In particular, 107 MPs voted unanimously for the package of bills with respect to making amendments and addenda to the laws on economic competition and state agency on regulation of services.

A total of 97 MPs voted for, 3 others—against, and 6 lawmakers abstained in the bill on making addenda to the law on national holidays and memorial days, and whereby the last Saturday of April shall be marked in Armenia as “Citizen’s Day.”

And 107 legislators voted unanimously for the bill on amendments to the Tax Code, and which stipulates that compressed natural gas (CNG) at the country’s CNG filling stations shall be sold in kilograms, instead of in volume.
