An agreement on military-technical cooperation was signed during the visit of the Minister of Defense of the Czech Republic to Armenia.
Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan said at a joint briefing after the meeting with his Czech counterpart that the Armenian-Czech bilateral cooperation in the defense sphere dates back to 2010, when an agreement on military cooperation was signed, it is based on a high level of political relations, friendship, mutual respect, shared values and has strong perspectives.
The cooperation plan involves the development of relations in the field of military police, peacemaking, the exchange of experience in military education, the exchange of information.
“We stated a high level of political relations and a common approach to regional and international issues. They touched upon the military-political processes in the neighborhood with our countries, ”the Minister noted.
