A psychological and ideological war is being led against Armenia’s authorities. This is what former MP Azat Arshakyan said during an April 12 press conference.

According to him, representatives of the former authorities understood last year that they couldn’t debate and maintain some leverages and now they are trying to ensure privileges for themselves through a psychological and ideological war.

Arshakyan believes that, in such conditions, the Armenian authorities need to lead a coarser struggle against those forces. “After the Velvet Revolution, which implies gradual reconstruction, it is impossible to talk about changes when the former corrupt figures are still around,” he stated.
