The air defenses at the Syrian Arab Army intercepted an Israeli aerial attack that targeted a military position in Hama Governorate, the state-run Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported.

A military source said that at about 2:30am on Saturday, Israeli warplanes conducted an airstrike from the Lebanese airspace on a military position towards Massyaf City.

Syrian air defenses immediately intercepted the missiles and downed some of them before reaching their targets.

The Israeli attack, however, destroyed some buildings and injured three fighters.
