US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Brazil’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ernesto Araújo have urged Cuba, Russia and China to stop supporting President of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro.

As reported the US Department of State, during a phone conversation, Pompeo and Araújo affirmed the close ties between the United States and Brazil and expressed commitment to continue joint efforts to overcome the political, economic and humanitarian crisis in Venezuela and prevent the negative consequences of the crisis in the neighboring areas of Venezuela. The parties stated that the foreign role-layers, including Cuba, Russia and China to stop supporting Nicolás Maduro.
