Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has held phone talks with UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, as reported Hurriyet, citing Erdogan’s press service.

During talks with the King of Saudi Arabia, Erdogan expressed condolences on the death of his brother, Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who died at the age of 96.

The parties also discussed issues related to regional developments and bilateral ties.

During his talks with Johnson, Erdogan congratulated him on assuming the office of Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, stated that Turkey and the UK are strategic partners and voiced hope that the bilateral ties will grow in all directions.
