The statue of famous American actor Jean-Claude Van Damme has been placed in the Azerbaijani village of Vandam.

According to 1News, the statue portrays the actor doing a “split”. The photo of the statue was posted on Facebook by journalist Shakir Eminbeyli, who noted that the statue was sculpted by Azat Alyev and that the idea was most probably conceived due to the similarity between the actor and the name of the village.
