Chinese cinematography committee of TV and radio announced the suspension of filming of films and TV series across the country in connection with the outbreak of pneumonia caused by the 2019-nCoV virus, TASS reported referring to an official statement.

During the fight against coronavirus, all companies and working groups involved in the shooting of films and TV series, as well as actors, in accordance with the order of the government, should temporarily stop working, it said.

According to the statement, if any film company violates this rule, it will be punished in accordance with the law. It also follows the actors have every right to refuse to participate in filming.
