YEREVAN. – The attorney of Armenia’s former Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Gevorg Loretsyan has appealed to the Criminal Court of Appeal the decision to extend the term of his client’s arrest. Loretsyan's lawyer, Levon Sahakyan, told about this to Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Sahakyan earlier told Armenian News-NEWS.am that he had filed a petition to release Gevorg Loretsyan on bail, but it was denied.
Loretsyan, his driver, and a football club president have been arrested on charges of bribery.
