In 2019, 26,850 crimes were recorded in Armenia, said Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan, representing the activities of the department led by him at a meeting of the Armenian State Legal Affairs Committee.

According to him, an increase of 8.8% was recorded due to crimes against property, traffic violations. 

As Davtyan noted, for the period 2008-2018 grave and especially grave crimes accounted for 28% of the total. In 2019 - 17.8%.
