In 2017, 265 cases of crimes against children were investigated in Armenia, of which 101 cases were crimes of a sexual nature, said deputy minister of justice Kristine Grigoryan.
According to her, in 2018 out of 317 criminal cases, only 76 were related to crimes of a sexual nature against children.
“However, only in the first half of 2019, 209 criminal cases were investigated in Armenia, of which 51 were related to crimes of a sexual nature against minors,” the deputy minister said.
