YEREVAN. – Anti-crisis measures of the Armenian Government started yielding positive results, said Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.

Speaking during the budget hearings in the National Assembly on Friday Sargsyan said infrastructure developed, capital investments increased and business climate improved in 2010.

In particular, the GDP went up by 2.1% instead of budgeted 1.2%. The share of industry in GDP has increased making 10.5 % in 2010.

Due to the steps taken by the government budget deficit fell making 5% of GDP against 7.6% registered in 2009.
