YEREVAN. - Azerbaijan has recently broken ceasefire regime more frequently, as it is dissatisfied with negotiation process, Giro Manoyan, Head of the Hay Dat (Armenian Cause) office of Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun (ARFD) told a press conference on Friday.
According to him, OSCE Minsk Group fails to give adequate response to the ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan in the line of contact, which encourages Azerbaijan to commit new provocations.
“The international community does not take deceive steps towards Azerbaijan’s actions. On the contrary, it puts a sign of equality between the parties to the conflict. Such an approach encourages Azerbaijan to go on pursuing its policy,” Manoyan said.
The ARFD member stressed if the time comes for decisive actions and the sides prepare for a final agreement, Azerbaijan will be forced to announce Nagorno-Karabakh is not a part of it.
It is noteworthy Azerbaijan has broken the ceasefire 3,500 times in the first four months of 2011. On Thursday Armenian civilian was killed in the line of contact of Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces as a result of ceasefire violation by Azerbaijani armed forces.
