HRAZDAN. - Armenian Hrazdan city resident Gerasim Soghomonyan, 33, beat his wife Arusyak Alaverdyan, 29, causing injury of head and body, informs Armenian News-NEWS.am photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan.

Law enforcement agents from Harazdan Police department found and apprehended Soghomonyam, who was in non-sober condition, cursed, threatened and hampered the police. Soghomonyan was arrested. A criminal case was initiated under Article 117 of Criminal Code (assault). Investigation is in process.
