YEREVAN. - International Organization for Migration (IOM) will assess needs for migration management in Armenia.

Secretary of Armenian National Council (NSC) Arthur Baghdasaryan received IOM representative Pierre Rossi-Longh on Tuesday, NSC press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He pointed out to the ongoing reforms in the migration sphere within Armenia-EU cooperation and stressed different strategies are developed for border management and modernization of border infrastructures. According to him, talks on facilitation of visa requirements and readmission agreements are underway. Baghdasaryan expressed readiness to assist the activities of the assessment mission and hoped it will contribute significantly to the implementation of reforms.
