YEREVAN. - All the 9 passengers injured in May 17 car accident (photo session) on Artsakh Street in Armenia’s capital have no life-threatening injuries, Spokeswoman for Armenian Health Minister Shushan Hunanynan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. The injured were taken to Erebuni medical centre.

There is a pregnant woman and a 7-year-old child among the injured, she said.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, four people burned alive in their vehicles, nine injured including a 7-year-old child following a serious car accident in Yerevan on Tuesday.

Photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Mercedes-Benz collided with GAZelle van on Artsakh street. Both vehicles burned instantly after the crash and, according to the witnesses, soon “turned to ashes.” Currently the rescuers try to pull burned bodies from the vehicles.

The officers of Yerevan traffic police have arrived at the scene. An investigation is underway.
