YEREVAN. – Leader of Heritage Party Raffi Hovannisian disclosed details of his conversation with the leader of opposition Armenian National Congress Levon Ter-Petrosyan.

The politicians met in mid April after Hovannisian ended hunger strike in the Liberty Square.

“We discussed recent developments and future. It was not a political conversation,” Hovannisian told journalists on Thursday.

Hovannisian said he is a person who can always talk to his opponent or colleague.

“I do not think it is a problem to greet someone regardless of whether he is former or incumbent president, opposition member or colleague,” he emphasized.

As regards political prisoners, leader of Heritage Party expressed hope they will be released by May 28 and the Armenian society will mark this day having no political prisoners.
