YEREVAN.- Presentation of Armenia’s Red Book will be held in the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) on Friday.

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, President of NAS Radik Martirosyan, representatives of international organizations and NGOs will be present at the event.

Armenia’s Red Book is prepared in accordance with international standards established by International Union for Conservation of Nature and requirements of Armenia’s laws on flora and fauna.

The second edition of Armenia’s Red Book includes 452 types of plants, 40 types of mushrooms, 308 types of animals, NAS press service reports.
