Prince Ernst August V of Hanover was arrested in Austria amid threats to the servant and damage to property, the Austrian Kronen Zeitung reported.

The 66-year-old head of the Hanoverian dynasty was detained on Monday evening at his hunting lodge.

According to the newspaper, law enforcement officers came to him after a complaint by a maid who works in Ernst August's house. According to the worker, the prince threatened her and her husband that he would send thugs to them if they did not move around the house silently.

The publication also notes that Ernst August tore out a road sign and broke a window at the Duke of Cumberland Foundation's facility.
