Massive clashes took place between Armenians and natives of Khandiga village of Tompon region, Yakutia.

Head of one of the construction companies Rafik Manukyan, the initiator of the disorder, entered a recreation zone on May 6, directing the headlights of his car right at football players and disturbing their rest with very loud music. Although the man turned off the lights when requested, he refused to turn down the music and called for his fellow Armenians, causing the scuffle reports SakhaNews.

The disorder did not stop on that. On May 9 a group of young people attacked the dormitory of Armenian workmen with Molotov cocktails. They also burned Toyota Land Cruiser belonging to Rafik Manukyan’s brother.

A criminal case has been initiated against Rafik Manukyan.
