A businessman from the state of Washington has been arrested in the United States for calling himself a biotechnology expert and selling a "vaccine" made in his own lab and against COVID-19, NYD reports.

According to the Department of Justice, Johnny Stine, 56, is charged with introducing drugs with incorrect brand after he had advertised his "vaccine" for $400-1,000.

The defendant injected people with an unknown substance, claiming that it was a vaccine against the coronavirus, it is said in US Attorney Brian T. Moran's statement.
