YEREVAN. - Realizing that political struggle on the basis of social discontent will not appear effective, Armenian National Congress (ANC) moves from radical oppositional grounds to center-oriented positions, said the head of Sociometer association Aharon Adibekyan to a press conference.

He marked that this move will cost ANC 23 percent of its voters but nevertheless ANC will secure 15-20 percent of votes at the elections.

He also added that recently political struggle is evolving within authority and oppositional forces rather than between them, which means that parliamentary elections of 2012 will be more transparent and fair than the previous ones.
