US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has stated that despite the contentious issues, countries have to collaborate with China.

Commenting on the possibility of drawing "red lines" in relations with China, Blinken said that the United States still has to deal with Beijing.

They are not in a position not to cooperate with China, and there are serious difficulties in this relationship—be it confrontational peace, competitive peace, or peace based on cooperation—, Blinken said in an interview with CBS.

Among the difficulties in relations between China and the US, Blinken noted the issue of Beijing's policy toward Xinjiang.
